CV Bahagia Jaya was established in Jayapura in 1987 and since then has mainly worked as contractors and suppliers in the area. Today, CV Bahagia Jaya handles all sales, marketing, service and support to customers and dealers across Jayapura for all Gunnebo and Chubbsafes products and Gunnebo Indonesia will support all necessary parts such as technical service, training, and product supplies.
The grand opening ceremony for this cooperation was held at the Papua province Governor’s office yard in Jayapura on Friday, July 30, 2010 and was officially opened by Papua Provincial Secretary.

The event was attended by approximately 300 people from government, bank, financial institution, hotels, jewelers’ shops, retail stores, telecommunication companies, leasing companies, building contractors and was also covered by some media making the headlines.
During the Grand Opening Ceremony, Gunnebo demonstrated fire extinguisher, fire pump and a Chubbsafes fire test. Both the fire test and the fire products demonstration succeeded to prove their excellence. The Chubbsafes filing cabinet passed endurance tests at temperatures up to 1000 degrees Celcius and was able to protect valuables documents in a fire. Gunnebo also displayed some of our product range and made sales promotion.
