In the mid-1800s, Alexandre Fichet and Auguste-Nicolas Bauche ran two successful security companies which were responsible for pioneering the development of fireproof safes, vault doors and locks in France.
After over a century at the top of their field, the companies originally founded by Fichet and Bauche merged in 1967. The new Fichet-Bauche then became part of the Gunnebo Security Group in 1999.
Fichet-Bauche is highly regarded in southern Europe, particularly in France, Spain, Italy and Portugal, and instils every safe with its unique blend of expertise, innovation and elegance.
Its range of fireproof and burglary-resistant safes and vaults is sold predominantly directly to businesses.
