Gunnebo Middle East hosted a training seminar on International Standards and Certification together with distributor Axon Business Systems in Dubai. The conference took place in the Crown Plaza Hotel at 5:00 pm on the 18th of January 2010. This date coincided with INTERSEC, the largest security exhibition in the Middle East. Invitations were sent out to banks, security consultants, contractors and engineers in addition to visitors of the Gunnebo stand at INTERSEC.
Invitees attended to learn about locking systems and international standards for security, fire, ballistics and explosives. The aim of the seminar was to educate key decision makers about the l certificates and testing of products to highlight the differences between standards all around the world and to highlight the benefits of using Gunnebo certified products. Myriam Bevillon gave a presentation about how burglary and fire certifications are obtained for different security products followed by Jean-Daniel Gross who discussed ballistics and explosives testing. The seminar was followed by a complementary dinner which encouraged good relations between Gunnebo and its customers.
