Head of Compensation & Benefits and HRIS, Göteborg
We are looking for a Head of Compensation & Benefits and HRIS to join our team, preferably at Global HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden, or another location in Europe.

As Head of Compensation & Benefits, you will lead our total rewards strategy, building on and evolving our current philosophy and programmes to support best employee experience. You will play an important role in the development and implementation of our reward processes, developing our HRIS system to drive simplicity and value in the global HR function. You will also be closely involved in global HR projects and developing our HR agenda.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of creating innovative, industry-standard rewards programmes and will be comfortable operating in a global, matrix-style organisation.
Main areas of responsibility:
- Lead the strategy, design and execution of the company’s global compensation, incentives and benefits, to help us attract and retain the best talent, all while balancing our bottom line and business objectives
- Take a fact-based approach to building and implementing our total rewards philosophy and programmes, while driving fairness and compliance in pay practices and policies
- Maintain strategic oversight of executive compensation, preparation for board level discussions and recommendations on the design of key reward elements
- Lead our HR analytics by identifying, designing and performing statistical analyses and making recommendations on complex HR issues. Ad hoc and regular reporting include annual sustainability reporting
- Develop deep relationships with leaders across the organisation, HR business partners and recruiters to ensure that our total awards approach has the desired business impact
- Help building Comp & Ben capability within the broader HR team
- Look for opportunities to continuously improve, regularly monitor external trends to proactively adjust our programmes. This includes job evaluation, annual compensation reviews, performance management, incentives management, internal pay structures and the like
- Provide subject-matter expertise on remuneration topics to management and HR colleagues globally
- You are the main administrator of our global HR system, so the scope of this role includes system configuration, data management, support upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation, and overall performance of the system
- The position must ensure accurate best practice and continuous improvements in business process/workflows within our newly implemented HRIS system, including core data, compensation programmes, annual performance reviews, learning paths and other possible system bundles.
Who we are looking for:
- You have an academic degree that reflects your interest in people and business, preferably within HR or Business Administration
- You have a background in international HR, and an interest and willingness to develop within a variety of HR areas. You are truly motivated by a varied working day
- You have a minimum five years’ experience in HRIS / compensation and benefits, including crafting and implementing a total rewards approach that aligns employees with shareholder value
- You have knowledge of statistical analysis as applied to compensation practices and market analysis, and you are familiar with job evaluation
- Strong MS Excel experience including trend and data analysis and reporting. You are an expert in complex Excel functions such as lookups, formulas, pivot tables and graphs
- Analytical and structured mindset with an interest in truly delivering business value
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong communicator with various levels of the organisation, experienced in establishing credible relationships with leadership teams
- You thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment and have good problem-solving skills
- You like to see your colleagues grow and you want to contribute to their development
- Fluent in English.
