Purchaser Engineer, Markersdorf

What you can expect 

Your tasks:  

- Strategic and operational purchasing of production and purchased parts for safe systems and spare parts worldwide 

- Close cooperation and coordination with the technical departments regarding specification and supplier selection 

- Management of the delivery and provision process, including capacity management of suppliers 

- Selection and qualification of suppliers as well as supplier development 

- Quality assurance measures including complaint processing 

- Analysis of current supply and procurement markets 

- Compiling key figures for purchasing projects on turnover, structure and production possibilities and actively participating in negotiations 

- Participation in make-or-buy decisions 

 What we expect 

Your profile:  

- Completed studies in engineering, industrial engineering or business administration with technical experience 

- Experience in technical or strategic purchasing in mechanical and plant engineering, with a high level of technical understanding 

- Career starters are also welcome 

- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and have extensive experience with a merchandise management or process control system 

- Ability for methodical problem solving and decision making as well as strong project management skills 

- Cost-conscious work, initiative, ability to work in a team and flexibility are a matter of course for you 

- Written and spoken German and English
