Robotic Engineer, Bari -Italy-

About The Role

 

We’re looking for a passionate robotics engineer to become a company’s newest innovator in our GSS Innovation Hub in Italy. 

The robotics engineer will join our multidisciplinary Bari team dedicated to improving the quality of our products and designing and developing advanced robotics and related technologies.

Our ideal candidate is creative and open to working in a diverse international environment, a creative engineer with deep expertise and burning curiosity and with professional experience in creating robotics systems.

 

What You Will Do

 

  • Design and develop robotic systems and document associated requirements
  • Create and test prototypes, working on necessary components
  • Create complete documentation that aligns with business and stakeholder requirements
  • Troubleshoot defects in the robot design
  • Keep abreast of advancements in robotics and relevant fields of engineering
  • Work within project timelines and constraints, communicating risks and potential problems to managers as soon as they arise
  • Drive own activity in autonomy, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring that the technical objectives are met

Who we are looking for

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in robotics, computer science, or electrical engineering
  • 3+ years of work experience as a robotic engineer or similar role
  • Fluent English proficiency
  • Proven ability to design and develop electrical or electronic complex systems
  • Excellent knowledge of 3D CAD/CAM software
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills & communication skills
  • Ability to work well in an international & multicultural team environment
