About The Role

We are looking for a Technical Writer with strong technical proficiencies and a genuine interest in working in an international innovative team of professionals and writing excellent documentation to join our growing innovation centre in Italy.

The ideal candidate will have proven success in a highly technical field and experience working with engineers and other experts to improve user experience, refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content. Also important in this role is the ability to evaluate and analyze complex information and a natural desire to help people understand it.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and other cross-functional team to gather information to produce documentation

• Understand product features and functionality to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation
• Organize and structure content in a logical & coherently manner to facilitate easy comprehension by end users and technicians
• Tailor documentation to meet the needs of diverse audiences, including end users and technicians responsible for product maintenance
• Work with graphic designers and multimedia specialists to incorporate visual elements such as diagrams, screenshots, and videos to enhance understanding
• Review and edit existing documentation for clarity, consistency, and completeness, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and incorporate revisions
• Implement version control for documentation to track changes and updates
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in technical writing
• Conduct usability testing on documentation to identify areas for improvement and ensure audience satisfaction

Who we are looking for

• University degree (minimum Bachelor) in a relevant field (e.g., Technical Communication, English, Engineering or Computer Science) or equivalent experience
• Fluent English proficiency (oral & written)
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology or engineering environment
• Proficiency in using documentation tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare).
• Knowledge of product development processes and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Basic proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) for incorporating visual elements like diagrams and illustrations into documentation.
• Excellent communication skills (oral & verbal)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize complex information
• Organizational & effective time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
