Gunnebo’s new book club discusses a topic that will determine the company’s future
Bill Gates’ How to Avoid a Climate Disaster has been praised for its “cold-eyed realism and number-crunched optimism” about tackling the climate crisis.
Where the Money Tree Grows by Sasja Beslik and Karim Sayyad is a bestselling guide to sustainable investing.
These are two of the titles discussed by a new book club in the Business Development team at Gunnebo Safe Storage.
The purpose is to create an informal but critical discussion around the sustainability and to share thoughts and lessons from recent books. Membership of the club is voluntary.
“We started this initiative with the extended Business Development team as their work has a huge impact on our offering and how we communicate with our customers,” says Linda Andrén, VP Business Development & Sustainability.
“We hope this idea will spread to more teams and that others will look at doing something similar, because it is a great way to engage people across our multinational teams in this strategic topic that governs our company’s future. It is important that everybody at Gunnebo is engaged in driving change as we accelerate our initiatives around sustainability.”
